The facility is located along National Route 4, directly in front of Asamushi-Onsen Station on the Aoimori Railway Line. Its convenient location makes it easy to stop by during a road trip, while it is also a useful place to relax while waiting for a train or exploring the area on foot.

The five-story building’s main highlight is the observation bath “Hadaka-yu” on the top floor. Large windows provide sweeping views of the calm waters of Mutsu Bay, with the distinctive island of Yunoshima visible offshore.

The view is particularly beautiful in the evening. As the sun sets over the bay, the sky and sea are gradually colored in warm shades of red and orange, creating a peaceful atmosphere in which to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

The hot spring is also popular with local residents. After soaking in the pleasant waters while looking out over the bay, visitors can relax both physically and mentally before continuing their journey.

Local Souvenirs and Regional Food

The first-floor shop offers a wide selection of Aomori specialties and souvenirs, including scallop products, apple-related goods, and Kuji-ra Mochi, a traditional sweet associated with Asamushi.

One of the popular treats is an original soft-serve ice cream made with blackcurrants, known locally as cassis, a specialty of Aomori City. Its refreshing sweet-and-tart flavor makes it especially enjoyable after a relaxing soak in the hot spring.

Next to the main facility, Yu~sa Market sells locally grown vegetables and fruits as well as fresh scallops from Mutsu Bay. Visitors can also enjoy freshly grilled seafood and other light meals, making it an easy place to sample local flavors during a sightseeing trip.
